Created through the collaboration of HON 3495: University Honors Special Topics students and the First Ladies, the Nourish Program is a social enterprise of the Duluth Center for Women and Children that addresses food insecurity through a community-based meal kit service rooted in Duluth’s Central Hillside neighborhood, ensuring families have access to healthy, affordable food.

FR 3305 — French Cuisine: Exploring French Culture Through Food

In this course, students explored the traditions of French cuisine while creating videos that showcase their own family recipes and food memories. Use this toolkit to learn from their experiences, reflect on your own food heritage, and get inspired to document the recipes that shape your story.

HON 3495 – Drumming Circle & Art Experience

Students from HON 3495 came together for a creative drumming circle designed to explore rhythm, emotion, and artistic regulation. Through sound and movement, participants used drumming as a grounding practice — translating beats and collective energy into visual art.
